The progression of a painting

I love putting my first pencil marks on a fresh sheet of stretched watercolor paper, at which point the sky is the limit for imagination and creativity. Painting is a journey and I never know where exactly I will end up, but I love going along for the ride. I thought I'd share my recent journey through a new composition I titled "Through the Mist".
