I am pleased to share my latest work, "Sunrise in the Foothills". I took the reference photos for this composition on Christmas Eve morning last year; the sun rose so low in the sky as it does so near the solstice, creating beautiful long shadows across a dewy field with Rattlesnake Ledge rising proudly in the background. It is such a privilege to witness such magical moments in nature, it was a joy to bring the scene to life in watercolor.
Summer is nearly here which means its art walk season!!
I am a proud participant of the Snoqualmie Finally Friday Art and Wine walks and have been for three years now. The 2019 season kicked off on May 31st with an amazing turn out, I think they've added several new and very talented local artists this year and I hope I get to meet them all. These are always very popular events so be sure to get your tickets early to enjoy the wine, food, music, and art! The art walk is always the last Friday of each month from May through September in historic downtown Snoqualmie, from 6pm - 9pm. For more details on participating wineries or to buy tickets, please visit the website: https://www.finallyfridayartandwinewalks.org/ The next one is on June 28th, I hope to see you there! |
