Jacqueline Tribble - Private Watercolor Tutor
Available within 20 miles of Snoqualmie, WA
I was classically trained in figure painting and art history at the University of Washington and completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing in 2009. Since then I have continued my art education and exploration of watercolor and other mediums through live demonstrations and lectures by internationally renowned artists in addition to travelling to world-class art museums and exhibitions. I continue to paint several days a week and am active in the local art communities and events in the Seattle area. My work has been exhibited in the United Kingdom, Italy, and the U.S. and can be found in private and public art collections internationally.
What I Offer:
It is up to the student what topics and skills they would like covered in these private art lessons. We can start from the ground up and work on the basics of drawing, composition, and value before moving on to the finer techniques of watercolor painting. If preferred, I can assist with focusing on a specific aspect of watercolor painting such as skin tones for figure work or building perspective in a landscape. Another popular request for tutoring is project oriented, having a specific project/goal in mind. For beginners I supply a full material list and cover the basics of preparing your watercolor paper, laying out a color palette, and maintaining your supplies.
Lessons should be scheduled at least one week in advance, any cancellations need to be made within 24-hours of the scheduled lesson. Payment must be made at the start of each lesson by cash, check, or Visa/Mastercard, Washington destination-based sales tax applies.
As a thank you for successful referrals, I offer one complimentary half hour lesson for each referral that books a 1+ hour lesson.
